Herbert the monster gets hungry when he gets scared – and he’s always scared. He’ll eat anything, from pens to pyjamas, and leaves a trail of nervous drool wherever he goes.
Edgar
EDGAR
When Edgar the skeleton loses his head, he really loses his head… and arm, and leg… when he gets scared he shakes himself to pieces! A prim, slightly superior skeleton, Edgar thinks he knows best about everything – especially running away and hiding.
Arthur
ARTHUR
Arthur the ghost is half doom and half gloom. he’s constantly panicking, and is usually the first to set off the other Frightening Things. He spends most of the time flying in and out of Dinkin’s pants drawer instead of coming up with a solution to Dinkin’s dreadful dilemmas.
Mr & Mrs Dings
MR & MRS DINGS
Okay, so they’re not actually Frightening Things, but they can be pretty frightening! Dinkin’s long-suffering parents, Mr and Mrs Dings try to be understanding about Dinkin’s fears, but it’s tricky when he keeps booby-trapping the house or stealing their stuff for his anti-fear inventions…
